What you will do as a Care Assistant

We are looking for passionate and hardworking carers to assist our residents to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, maintaining their dignity and helping them to feel valued members of society. You will be promoting independence, choice and inclusion. Care will range from the provision of support for day to day activities of daily living to full physical and psychological care for people at the end of their life. You will also work with families to ensure they feel involved and part of the Glenholme family.

Your Safety

Safety of our staff and residents is our highest priority. All staff have access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for use at work. In line with current social distancing measures, interviews are conducted via video and we are offering an e-learning induction training course.

Requirements

What you will need

Experience in the care sector or caring for another individual, either personally or professionally, would be beneficial, but not essential. What is essential is a caring, empathetic and compassionate nature, a strong belief in teamwork, a keen work ethic and an interest in a career in care. We will provide training from The Care Certificate up to Level 5 Health and Social Care or Associate Nurse training; providing opportunities for promotion and enhancing your skills
