Weekly Hours: 30-40 Hours Per Week

Required Qualification: Minimum NVQ  Level 3

Hourly Rate:  £12 per hour (depending on qualifications)

What you will do as a Senior Care Assistant

We are looking for passionate and hardworking senior carers to assist our residents to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, maintaining their dignity and helping them to feel valued members of society. You will be promoting independence, choice and inclusion. The role includes supervising care staff from the provision of support for day to day activities of daily living to full physical and psychological care for people at the end of their life. You will also assist people to take their medication, develop and update care plans, lead a team of staff and work with families to ensure they feel involved and part of the Glenholme family.


Your Safety

Safety of our staff and residents is our highest priority. All staff have access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for use at work. In line with current social distancing measures, interviews are conducted via video and we are offering an e-learning induction training course.

COVID-19 Vaccinations:


By law any employees working in social care in England for residents requiring nursing or personal care must have 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, unless they have a medical exemption.

So that you can join our team, you must have your 1st vaccination by 16th September 2021, and your second vaccination by 11th November 2021.





Requirements

What you will need

Experience in the care sector is essential along with NVQ 3, or equivalent, and a willingness to complete NVQ 3. You must be of a caring, empathetic and compassionate nature, with a strong belief in teamwork, a keen work ethic and an interest in a career in care. We will provide training up to Level 5 Health and Social Care or Associate Nurse training; providing opportunities for promotion and enhancing your skills

Must be able to work nights.
